OUR Beseda Dancers
Our Beseda Dancers perform traditional Czech and Slovak folk dances in costume or "Kroje" that are representative of various regions in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The Beseda dancers bring Czech and Slovak tradition to life through graceful movement, vibrant music, and beautiful, handcrafted costumes. Each costume tells a story, rich with color, embroidery, and detail that reflect the regions and history of the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Dance Connects us to our Culture and to One Another
Beseda Events
Our multi-generational folk-dance group, named after the national dance of Czechoslovakia, was established in 1976. The group performs Czech, Slovak, Roma, and Moravian dances at various community events, including DIFI’s “A World A’Fair”, one of the oldest cultural events in Ohio.
The Beseda Dancers are available for performances. For more information, e-mail: info@accdayton.com
